Certification and Authenticity
It is the INCM Assay Office that checks the legal touch, that is, permilage of precious metal contained in an alloy. The contrast is applied next to the responsibility mark, manufacturer or equivalent.
Only in this way is it possible to certify the legal conformity of the articles for their introduction onto the market.
The application of marks is only mandatory on pieces weighing more than 2 grams, in the case of silver, and weighing more than 0.5 grams in the case of gold.
The buyer can always, in case of doubt about the authenticity of the pieces, use the services of Assay Offices to verify the authenticity of the material.
